During the holidays when the business is typically slow, take a few moments to review your business. See where your business came from, what you did with the leads you got, how much money you made, and what you want to improve in the coming year. A little planning now can make you a lot of money later.
Also as you’re doing this review, take a moment to stand in your clients’ shoes. Walk through the process of buying or selling a home with you from the client’s perspective. Are they having the experience of you that you want them to have? How can you improve their experience with a little effort on your part? What systems can you put in place to guarantee a consistently superior experience for your clients?
Michael Gerber wrote a book called The E Myth. It’s available in both book and video format (I prefer the video). It’s a great book to look to if you are trying to improve your customer service.
